Design Director

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage design teams across multiple client engagements
• Work in partnership with Strategic and Account teams to understand and manage client needs
• Ability to define and implement innovative solutions for digital direction, visuals and experiences
• Participate in the business development process: pitches, presentations and proposals
• Build deep client relationships across projects
• Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
• Work with vendors and outside specialty resources
• Manage project deliverables, timelines and budgets 
• Provide leadership for project teams & manage and cultivate the professional development of staff members

REQUIREMENTS:

• 8 + years experience
• Advanced in Adobe Creative Suite, proficiency in Sketch, InVision, and similar design and prototyping tools
• Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience
• Experience working with design systems
• Experience managing teams with diverse design backgrounds
• Experience growing and managing client relationships
• Comfortable with travel necessary in a client service business
• Solid creative problem-solving, verbal & written presentation skills 
• Successfully manages time, process and workflow
