Creative Production Manager

 YOU: You are a seasoned Creative Production Manager with an astute eye for detail. Confident in making decisions as well as collaborating with and leading teams across a variety of skillsets. You support the creative and strategy teams in delivering exceptional work for clients.

THEM: They are a New York-based creative studio for brands at a crossroads. They put startups on the map, help established players find new fans, and create stories that make people want to do things differently. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and maintain creative development and production schedules to optimize resources, ensure quality, and deliver on time 
  • Provide the daily workflow management that keeps teams productive, engaged, and focused on their best possible contributions 
  • Coordinate communication with external creative partners such as illustrators, typographers, motion artists, and UX designers 
  • Manage agency budgets for assigned accounts 
  • Plan and coordinate still and video shoots which may include still-life, on-figure studio, and on-location, often in collaboration with additional external producers 
  • Partner with the creative team, shoot partners, and external line producers to drive pre-production, post-production, and asset delivery 
  • Block and plan production budgets 
  • Communicate with cross-functional client stakeholders at a range of seniority levels, from marketing executives to accounting assistants 
  • Manage information flows between agency and client as appropriate 
  • Facilitate client/agency alignment and strong, collaborative relationships 
  • Consult on the scoping of new business as appropriate

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Phenomenal project management, decision making and problem solving skills
  • Effectively balances the needs of the team, the client and the business with agility
  • Enthusiasm for design culture and design thinking with understanding of brands and brand strategy
  • Experience working within and managing creative team 
  • Experience with producing still and video shoots 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
  • Based on the information that has been provided to You & Them by our Client, the salary range for this position is $125-150k
