Director of Marketing

THEM: They are a premium audio brand with a deep passion for building beautifully crafted, richly appointed, technically sophisticated audio products for creative minds.

  • Work with co-founders to develop, implement, and monitor the company’s annual marketing plan to drive awareness, acquisition, and retention in support of the company’s growth objectives.
  • Own marketing strategy for new product launches
  • Manage the company’s social, digital/e-commerce, events, partnerships, email and content marketing
  • Own PR strategy, manage in-house/outside PR teams for key areas and partner with distributors in new markets
  • Develop and deliver a commercial marketing strategy to drive channel marketing and sales
  • Develop marketing briefs and partner with Art Department on creative
  • Develop innovative digital strategies, execute campaigns, and create and track efficiencies over time
  • Work directly with the company’s founders and art director to push the brand message and communications forward
  • Support the product development team with new product and market definition, pricing and competitive analysis where required
  • Own marketing strategy for new product launches
  • Establish and track meaningful marketing budgets and performance metrics
  • Facilitate the alignment of content, commerce, and brand throughout all digital experiences


  • 7-10 years in relevant marketing roles with consumer, technology, luxury, or branded goods industries
  • Equally comfortable engaging on creative, strategic, and tactical marketing challenges
  • Digitally-savvy, with experience in creating and developing cutting-edge digital campaigns
  • Experience in marketing functions supporting the sales of consumer products through distribution, wholesale channels, and e-commerce
  • BA/BS or MA/MS in a relevant field, Masters in Business Administration, or higher degrees in marketing or related fields a plus but not required
  • Experience selecting and managing in-house and out-house creative contractors
  • A natural, charismatic leader comfortable in a small, fast-paced startup environment
